The RYS regrets to announce that as a result of the forthcoming Lockdown on Thursday 5 November, that the decision has been made to cancel racing for the J70 Solent Championships this coming weekend.
The J70 Solent Championships, hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron, is one of ten regattas that form the J/70 Class Grand Slam Series 2020. The series culminates in the presentation of two fabulous trophies, for the overall winner and the corinthian winner! To be eligible for the trophies you must compete at 5 events including the UK Nationals.
Unfortunately the 2020 regatta will not be taking place in June due to the Coronavirus pandemic, further, the regatta has provisionally been rescheduled to November, further details will be promulgated when known.
