We have been advised that the formula for boats from the U.K. entering the Schengen area was ratified for France this morning (6th May), and we are assured that this will be recognised nationally. The entry document is  based on Article 3.2.5, Annexe VI of the Schengen Accord pertaining to pleasure craft. It can be found on the "Le Havre Plaisance" web site

This document must be completed by all crew members prior to arrival in the port, and returned to the frontier authorities (PAF) direct. Once accepted, boats will be permitted to travel throughout the Channel region, including marinas not designated as official entry ports.

Although for the moment it is the PAF in Le Havre which is leading this initiative in Normandy, we are currenly awaiting confirmation from the maritime authorities in Brittany that they will be issuing similar acknowledgement of the procedure. Further updates will be published when received.
